The initial sounding of these messages may have been sequential but subsequently, they overlap, overlay and even blend into one. 

The aim of this tabulation is to show how current events at the end of time reveal the full relevance of the 3 messages as they converge in power to reveal and end the great spiritual controversy between good and evil.

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his markin his forehead, or in his hand,

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone ………….

The First Message when contrasted against the Third Message sharpens the nature of the great spiritual controversy between good and evil and brings into focus the critical importance of sanctification in salvation and reveals the end-time battle plan that Satan has drawn up for the annihilation of God’s sanctified remnant.

“ For this is the will of God, even your sanctification….” 1Thess 4:3.

And in sharp contrast in 2 Thess 2:3-4 - “that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” and yet he succeeds and “sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil…” Prov 8:13

The more we love God, the more we hate sin,… thus Christ draws us into oneness with Him in sanctification. “For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,” As a reminder of our righteousness by faith ( rbf ) God gives us the Sabbath as a weekly reminder of our oneness with Him in sanctification.

John 17 emphasizes oneness between God the Father, Christ and his people in sanctification in verses 17 and 19

A Mother church had arisen giving prominence to an opposing day that dismisses “sanctification”, purporting to replace it with “resurrection” . Ultimately, the Mother reunites with the separated Daughter churches and even the kings of the earth into unitive oneness, using that day as their mark of universal unity, their “bond of sympathy”. Finally, it becomes obvious, that the opposing day, because it serves to unite all the world, has nothing whatsoever to do with either the resurrection or sanctification.

Is there a prophet amongst us now and have we a prophetic message that highlights the need for sanctification and judgement? Is this not all encapsulated in the First Angel’s Message – The Sabbath ( worship Him that made … ) given as His sign of sanctification and proclaimed as “ the hour of His judgement” . 

Yet greater strength is needed when another “mighty angel” descends and adds to the Third, the power of the 3 message as they converge is then felt.

Note that acceptance of the 3AM is equated to when the “latter rain” drops into human vessels. 

The first message deals with “judgement” which is a logical outcome of sanctification, being the differentiation between the sanctified and the wicked.

EGW, being a true prophet bore a true prophetic message of judgement and the workings of the 3AM will separate out a remnant for God.

“ So those who will follow on with the people of God, suffer trials with them, press on with them, when the mighty angel descends from heaven, clothed with the panoply of heaven and gives strength to the third angel, the power of the message is felt by them. The heavenly showers fall on them. The latter rain drops in their vessels.” {1EGWLM 660.3}

Who is the false prophet, of the Threefold Union of Rev 16:13 ? It must be that whichopposes the true prophet with a false message of “peace and safety”, no judgement, leaving people in denial of the poverty of their spiritual condition. Sudden destruction comes as a thief in the night upon the wicked and just as swiftly, the seventh plague destroys the  Threefold Union. Rev 16:17

Note that as it is the Threefold Union that draws the world to worship “the false Christ”, so this global movement has to be Christian led and hence the opposing day has to be none other than the Christian Sunday which historically was designated for sun and Baal worship.

The purpose of this section is to analyse how Satan’s lie of the immortal soul is the deadly ingredient that causes people including Christians to accept the mark of the beast. We have inserted 3 questions to provoke thoughtful consideration within each of the 3 Messages on the lie of the immortal soul. See the 3 columns on your right.  

Then go to the next section #05 and follow the sequence [A] to [F] for answers.

Question #1 - What is the “wine of Babylon”?

EGW - “The wine of Babylon is the exalting of the false and (1) spurious sabbath above the Sabbath which the Lord Jehovah hath blessed and sanctified for the use of man, and ( 2) the pagan teaching of the immortality of the soul.

These and kindred heresies, and the rejection of the truth, convert the church into Babylon. Kings, merchants, rulers, and religious teachers are all in corrupt harmony.       2SM, pg. 64

According to the Third Message of the Bible, the wine of Babylon will cause the world to accept the legislation of Sunday as the mark of the beast.

Question #3 - How do we show from the Bible that Satan’s lie of the “immortal soul” will be the Mother’s basis to legislate Sunday as the mark of the beast ?

[E] The west had the truth of Judeo-Christianity which reigned in Satan’s seductive ideology of man being unchangingly a mingling of good and evil. The Greek philosophy of man being of pure spirit in despicable flesh met its opponent in being made “whole in Christ” and “go sin no more”. On the other hand, the far east did not have the truth of Judeo-Christianity and Satan’s ideology of the coexistence of good and evil had free reign. Hence we see it deep in every facet of life – Yin Yang, Tai Chi, Yoga, Hinduism, Buddhism, Zen, Transcendental Meditation, etc. The height of meditative experience is described as “non-dual” which is when all polar opposites ceases, when one is freed off space/time and becomes One with God/Universe. The deadly danger is when all polar opposites ceases! In their alternate reality, there is neither good nor evil ie when good and evil are not differentiated or not discerned! Is this not what Satan said to Eve? – over on my side, there is no need to differentiate between good and evil, sin and live ! [F] The non-differentiation of good and evil is deeply prevalent in society in general, but of particular concern, is when it is characteristic of the Mother and Daughter churches especially with the rapid growth of emergent spirituality of the emergent church with its emphasis on contemplative practices. Laodicea is described as completely ignorant of its condition – not hot, not cold. Zep 1:7 and 1:12 describes Christianity in the “day of the Lord” as that which perceives God as neither good nor evil. Mal 2:17 also tells us that in that day, Christians are so deceived as think that God delights in those who do evil as if they do good !

[B] The seduction in Satan’s lie that every person has an in-born, immortal divine soul ( even when he/she should depart from God ), that each person already possesses thepower within of divine purity, with that helaid the foundation for the development of his master deception. The First Angel’s Message on sanctification emphasizes just the opposite, that our in-born fallen nature is devoid of immortality or divinity and hence our need for sanctification. This is the first flashpoint of the controversy between good an

d evil. 

[A] EGW - Satan has long been preparing for his final effort to deceive the world. The foundation of his work was laid by the assurance given to Eve in Eden: 1] “Ye shall not surely die.” “In the day ye eat thereof, then your 2] eyes shall be opened, and 3] ye shall be as gods, 4] knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4, 5. Little by little he has prepared the way for his masterpiece of deception in the development of spiritualism. He has not yet reached the full accomplishment of his designs; but it will be reached in the last remnant of time.  Says the prophet: “I saw three unclean spirits like frogs; ... they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” Revelation 16:13, 14. DD 23.3 

[F] Examples of non dual

[C] The Mother church believes in the lie of the immortal soul and has traditionally incorporated spiritualistic practices/exercises/meditation as ways to discover the personal inner divine to yoke in oneness with GOD the DIVINE. Firstly, this practice embeds the lie of the immortal soul as truth and the mystical experience in meditation of oneness is characterized by the Mother as salvation as attested by the later  growth of the contemplative tradition of the Desert Fathers within the Mother.

[D] To deeply root utter confusion and darkness in the minds of men, The Mother couples original sin ie in-born sin guilt at birth with in-born immortal divinity/purity of the immortal soul ! What the Mother asserts is that from the very moment that man is born, he is both sinfully guilty and divine at the same time. This is the theological sequel to Satan’s “sin and live” lie that he made in Eden.  

This is the second flashpoint of the controversy between good and evil, the deception that God had ordained that man is both good and evil at the point of birth and that God accepts this as man’s unchanging nature .

Hence, what the Mother and Daughters teach  are continuous cycles of confession, off-setting good works and at the other end of the swing of the pendulum, the cheap grace of sin and live all of which matches their deceptive construct that man is both good and evil. These ideas change the personality and speculate on the presence of God who although perceived as absolutely good, is still perceived as tolerant of the evil of an ever burning Hell.  The Mother and Daughters do not teach Christian perfection or sanctification as essential for salvation.

Satan’s seductive lie is that we do not need to differentiate between good and evil. The First Message tells us that sanctification is essential for salvation.

When you join the dots from [A] to [F], what emerges is that the Mother and Daughter churches are seduced and confused by the twin evil of Satan’s lies ( immortal soul and original sin ), that the Mother embraced the contemplative tradition and their eastern meditative practices which are based on the immortal soul and now promotes them to Protestantism where the emergent church is also flourishing.

Non dual Contemplative Prayer of Father Thomas Merton was promoted by Pope Francis to US Congress in Sept 2015 as the way to unite all people and religion.
